Hello Varsha,

Well we are home and have recovered from the long journey.  India is indeed incredible (just as the advertisements say).  I have attached our evaluation.  Thank you very much for the lovely gifts.

EVALUATION OF CUSTOMIZED TOUR OF NORTHERN INDIA FOR GERARD & SHEILA KOOT BY COMPASS TOURS -          JANUARY 2008

 Meet and assist at airports and train stations

Excellent.  We were never kept waiting.  Sanjay was particularly helpful in meeting, assisting and explaining.

Car and driver
 
Excellent.  Drivers were polite and courteous.  Special mention for Ram, our driver from Agra to Udaipur.  He was outstanding-- pleasant and informative.
Sightseeing tours
 
Tours worked well but the traffic in Delhi made the Delhi portion difficult.

Guides

The guide on our first afternoon in Delhi did not seem interested in showing us the older sites.  The other guides were good.  Special mention for Gurcharan Singh Aulakh in Amritsar and Prem Prakash Srivastava in Varanasi.  They both were extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of India in addition to knowing a great deal about the local monuments.

Excellent tour.  We would recommend your company to our friends and colleagues.  We would use you again if we return to India.
